SUMMARY:
Stalking; protective order. Provides that a judge or magistrate may, upon reasonable grounds, issue an emergency, temporary, or final protective order for a petitioner against a person accused of stalking. The protective order language which is added tracks the language currently in Title 16.1 which governs protective orders in cases of family abuse.
