SUMMARY:
Assault against law-enforcement officer (with a firearm). Increases the penalty to a Class 6 felony from a Class 1 misdemeanor; adds a chemical or pepper spray as an assault weapon; and keeps the minimum, mandatory period of incarceration at six months.
