SUMMARY:
Drug-free school zones; day-care centers. Adds day-care centers and public property within 1,000 feet of these centers to those areas designated "drug-free school zones." Persons convicted of manufacturing, selling, distributing, or possessing controlled substances, imitation controlled substances, or marijuana in these zones may be imprisoned for one to five years and fined up to $100,000.
