SUMMARY:
Money laundering; transaction reports; penalties. Requires the duplicate reporting to the Commonwealth of money transaction reports involving sums of $10,000 or more. Currently the federal government requires these reports. The duplicate reporting requirement enables the Commonwealth to punish such reporting failures. Penalties for failure range from Class 1 misdemeanors to felony offenses.
