Sales and use tax exemption; medical-related organizations. Grants a sales and use tax exemption for purchases by any nonprofit, tax-exempt organization organized and operated to initiate, promote, assist, develop, maintain, and conduct, directly or indirectly, studies, investigations and research relating to the treatment and prevention of birth defects.
