HB 1606 Alcoholic beverage control; definition of resort complex.

Introduced by: Mitchell Van Yahres | all patrons    ...    notes | add to my profiles

SUMMARY:

Alcoholic beverage control; definition of resort complex. Decreases from 250 to 150 the minimum number of rooms and from 100 to 50 the minimum acreage required of a facility with a hotel to qualify as a "resort complex" for ABC licensure purposes. Decreasing the minimum size requirements allows smaller resorts in Virginia to obtain an ABC license. Currently, only The Homestead is considered a resort complex. With this bill, the Boar's Head Inn and the Williamsburg Inn would qualify.
