SUMMARY:

House special license plate omnibus. Authorizes issuance of Presidential inauguration license plates; reduces fees for Pearl Harbor Survivor license plates; makes unremarried surviving spouses of recipients of the Navy Cross, the Distinguished Service Cross, the Air Force Cross, and the Distinguished Flying Cross eligible to receive the same special license plates as recipients of those decorations; reduces fees for special license plates for Virginia National Guard Retirees; provides for special license plates for Desert Storm and Desert Shield participants and Disabled American Veterans, Legion of Valor, Virginia State Firefighters Association, and State Fire Chiefs Association members; authorizes issuance of special license plates for Virginia Scuba Divers, supporters of Virginia's Western Highlands Travel Council, and the Virginia Drug Abuse Resistance Education Association; authorizes issuance of Historic Yorktown and Gloucester: Daffodil Capital of the World special license plates; authorizes special license plates for the Old Dominion Boat Club, supporters of the Washington DC United Soccer Team, and supporters of the AFL-CIO; and provides for special license plates for supporters of community traffic safety programs and supporters of parental involvement in public school programs; and makes other changes in the law relating to license plates as requested by DMV.
