SUMMARY:

Detention homes; transportation of children. Grants employees of detention homes authority as conservators of the peace during the time they are transporting children from the home to a local medical appointment or mental health evaluation. Certain correctional employees are granted similar authority while performing a comparable function pursuant to § 53.1-109
