SUMMARY:
Tax on fuel in certain transportation districts; referendum for tax and debt. Permits any transportation district, whose member jurisdictions in a referendum approve, to impose a tax on motor fuel and special fuel at a rate not to exceed $0.02 per gallon. At the option of any member jurisdiction, a referendum must be held in any requesting jurisdiction prior to the issuance of debt if the governing body of such member jurisdiction so requests in a resolution.
