HB 1001 Manufactured housing in agricultural zones.

SUMMARY:

Manufactured housing. Allows localities to restrict the placement of manufactured homes within agricultural zoning districts if the governing body determines that such restrictions are in the best interest of the public welfare in the preservation of the character of residential neighborhoods. This would provide an exception to the current law which provides for uniform regulations for manufactured housing in agricultural zones.
