Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. Notwithstanding the provision of § 2.1-505, the Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services is hereby authorized to convey, with the approval of the Governor and the Attorney General, the remaining forty acres, more of less, of the property known as the DeJarnette property, including any buildings thereon, adjoining Richmond Road, Frontier Drive, and other property of the Frontier Culture Museum of Virginia in the City of Staunton, to the Frontier Culture Museum of Virginia for the growth and development of the Museum in carrying out its educational mission and other incidental purposes.

§ 2. The appropriate officials of the Commonwealth are hereby authorized to prepare, execute and deliver such deed and other documents as may be necessary to accomplish such conveyance.
