Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 63.1-174.1:1 as follows:

§ 63.1-174.1:1. Security on premises.

Each adult care residence licensed to provide care pursuant to this article shall, in addition to any form of visual or audio surveillance, provide a security officer to be on duty at all times on the premises of each residence.
