Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 26-24 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 26-24. Fees of commissioners of accounts.

The fees of commissioners of accounts for the special duties hereinbefore imposed upon them shall be the same as are now allowed by law to commissioners in chancery. Each commissioner of accounts shall report to the clerk of the circuit court on February 1 of every year, for each jurisdiction for which the commissioner is responsible, the gross amount of his fees for the previous calendar year. The report shall be available for public inspection at the office of the clerk.
