CHAPTER 375 An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 30-19.03:2, relating to legislative summaries. [H 1955] Approved March 15, 1997

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 30-19.03:2 as follows:

§ 30-19.03:2. Legislative summaries.

Any legislative summary associated with a bill, joint resolution or resolution, including any summary appearing on the face of such legislation, shall not constitute a part of the legislation considered, agreed to, or enacted and shall not be used to indicate or infer legislative intent.
