SUMMARY:
Study; continue the Joint Subcommittee Studying the Legal and Policy Ramifications of Breast Cancer Susceptibility Gene Research. Continues the joint subcommittee for one additional year in light of the continuing development of information on gene research and the need to evaluate the potential uses of such information with regard to health insurance, work, and a variety of areas of life. Changes the name of the subcommittee to the Joint Subcommittee Studying the Legal and Policy Ramifications of Genetic Research.
