SUMMARY:

Accessories after the fact. Divides punishment for accessories after the fact into two categories: (i) an accessory after the fact to a felony punishable by more than 10 years (i.e., Class 1, 2 and 3 felonies, carjacking and drug king pin), is guilty of a Class 6 felony and (ii) an accessory to a felony punishable by 10 years or less is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor. Currently the punishment for any accessory after the fact is a Class 1 misdemeanor.
