SUMMARY:
Transient occupancy tax. Authorizes York, Albemarle, Prince William, Spotsylvania, Nelson and Loudoun Counties to increase the rate of their transient occupancy tax to a rate not exceeding five percent. Revenues from the portion of the tax exceeding two percent shall be spent on tourism and travel promotions.
