SUMMARY:
Certificates of analysis. Provides that in any criminal trial or forfeiture proceeding, failure by the attorney for the Commonwealth or the clerk to deliver or mail a copy of the certificate of analysis to counsel for the accused shall not be a bar to its admissibility but shall be grounds for continuance of any hearing or trial in which it is to be offered as evidence. This bill is similar to HB 646.
