SUMMARY:
Elections; prohibited campaign contributions by casino gambling interests. Prohibits any person who is an applicant for, or who holds, a casino gambling license in any state from making contributions to candidates or political committees and prohibits the candidate or committee from accepting the contribution. A violation of the prohibition is subject to the same civil and misdemeanor penalties as a violation of the campaign finance disclosure law. The maker of an illegal contribution is subject to an additional civil penalty equal to twice the amount of the prohibited contribution.
