SUMMARY:

Comprehensive planning; mineral resources. Adds mineral resources to those topics which a locality may consider during the comprehensive planning process. A locality will be required to include mineral resources in the comprehensive plan only if such areas are identified and surveyed by the state. This bill is identical to HB 1522.
