Technology assistance. Expands powers of the Department for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing from telecommunications assistance to technology assistance in the current equipment distribution program. Potential uses of this new technology include video interpreters for message relay and off-site interpreters for mainstreamed classrooms.
