SUMMARY:

Medical Assistance Services; authority to impose sanctions and other remedies. Authorizes, in order to comply with federal law, the Board of Medical Assistance Services to promulgate regulations incorporating sanctions or other remedies in compliance with federal regulations when nursing homes show a pattern of failure to meet ongoing financial obligations and to ensure that the health and safety of nursing home patients is maintained.
