SUMMARY:

Reduced tuition for certain students. Authorizes the governing boards of Clinch Valley College and the University of Virginia to charge reduced tuition for out-of-state students enrolled at the College if the student resides within a 50 mile radius of the College and is a Kentucky resident and would be entitled to instate tuition at a Kentucky institution of higher education, provided that Kentucky has similar reciprocal provisions for Virginia students. A four-year institution designated as a division of the University of Virginia, Clinch Valley College is subject to the supervision, management, and control of the UVa board of visitors. Any out-of-state student granted instate tuition under this provision would be counted as an out-of-state student for purposes of admissions, enrollment, and tuition and fee policies.
