SUMMARY:
Guardians and conservators. Substantially revises provisions governing appointment of guardians for the person and managers of the property of persons found by the court to be incapable of providing for their own essential needs or supporting themselves or their dependents. Guardians are defined as persons appointed to be responsible for the personal affairs of an incapacitated person and conservators are managers of the person's estate or financial affairs.
