SUMMARY:
Sales and use tax exemption; medical organizations. Grants a sales and use tax exemption to any nonprofit organization exempt from taxation under § 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code organized and operated primarily to benefit a medical college affiliated with a state university. The organization provides support services to the medical college's faculty, and conducts their professional practices. MCV Associated Physicians would be among the beneficiaries of the legislation.
