SUMMARY:
University of Virginia Medical Center. Exempts the University of Virginia Medical Center from requirements imposed upon state agencies generally regarding review and approval of capital projects, operating leases and procurement. The Medical Center's employees are exempted from portions of the Virginia Personnel Act. A separate retirement plan will be provided for the Medical Center's employees.
