Certificates of public need; moratorium; exception. Provides an exception to the moratorium on the acceptance of applications for nursing facility projects that propose to increase the number of beds in which licensed nursing facility or extended care services are rendered for a locally owned, for-profit facility located in Woodstock, Virginia, if the facility's total number of beds will not exceed one hundred beds, including seventy existing beds and thirty proposed beds, and the facility's occupancy rate exceeded ninety-five percent for at least six months in 1995.
This moratorium is set to expire on July 1, 1996; however, no facility will be allowed to apply for a certificate and the Commissioner will not be authorized to accept, review, or approve any application between now and July 1.
