SUMMARY:
Revocation of boating privilege. Provides a criminal penalty (Class 2 misdemeanor) for operating a watercraft or motorboat when a person's operating privileges have been revoked under the drunk boating law to comport with similar sanctions for motor vehicle operation. The bill also allows for warrantless arrest for such violations in the presence of an officer. In addition, the bill makes it illegal to willfully and intentionally impede lawful fishing. This is emergency legislation.
