SUMMARY:

Reimbursement for special education placements. Revises the special education residential placement reimbursement language to correctly note that the payments come from the Comprehensive Services pool of funds for reasonable tuition costs and charges for special education placements in private, nonsectarian schools, agencies, or institutions, when a child's individualized education program (IEP) calls for such placement. Reimbursement of placements in the Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center or a regional special education program will continue to be made from such funds as may be appropriated for that purpose.
