1996 SESSION
SB 292 Controlled substances.
Introduced by: Stephen H. Martin | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Controlled substances. Eliminates the requirement for licensed practitioners of medicine, osteopathy, podiatry, dentistry, or veterinary medicine to obtain a controlled substances registration certificate from the Board of Pharmacy. This measure also provides that, if the license of such practitioners or a pharmacist is suspended or revoked by the issuing board, all controlled substances owned or possessed by the licensee may be placed under seal. The controlled substances registration certificate duplicates the required federal registration from the United States Drug Enforcement Administration.
