SUMMARY:
Public Procurement Act; minimum purchases. Increases the amount from $15,000 to $30,000 for which a public body may establish purchase procedures without requiring competitive sealed bids or competitive negotiations. The bill also makes this new cap applicable to the purchase of microcomputers, related equipment, and services.
