SUMMARY:

Removal. Eliminates the requirement that a case be removed from the general district court to the circuit court upon application of a defendant made at any time within the 10-day period following the return day. The application, if made within the 10-day period, would have to made more than three days prior to any scheduled hearing in the matter and notice would have to be given to the plaintiff. All other requirements of the removal statute remain the same.
