SUMMARY:

Virginia Security for Public Deposits Act. Requires all public deposits to be collateralized pursuant to the Virginia Security for Public Deposits Act (§ 2.1-359 et seq.). The measure clarifies the applicability of this Act to the deposit of all state funds and deposits of state funds by local treasurers.
