SB 15 Murder in course of an abduction.

SUMMARY:

Death penalty. Allows imposition of the death penalty in any case involving the willful, deliberate, premeditated killing of another in the commission of an abduction for pecuniary gain or with intent to defile. Currently, the victim of this offense must be under the age of 12 in order to invoke the capital murder statute. This bill is similar to HB 286.
