SUMMARY:

Shrink-swell soil; two-zone map. Requests the Virginia Board of Housing and Community Development to include in the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code a two-zone map of the Commonwealth to indicate the potential of expansive soils in Virginia and provide for appropriate action to be implemented by local governments pursuant to the level of expansive soils potential.
