HJ 158 Study; demise of independent pharmacies.
Introduced by: John J. Davies III | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Study; health; demise of independent pharmacies. Requests the establishment of a select committee of the House Committee on Health, Welfare and Institutions and the Senate Committee on Education and Health to study the threatened extinction of local independent pharmacies. This resolution notes that pharmacists have provided and still provide much health-care advice and guidance to local citizens and that local independent pharmacies are disappearing, thereby potentially leaving a void in health-care resources, particularly in rural areas.
