SUMMARY:

Elderly and disabled. Expresses the sense of the General Assembly that the Elderly and Disabled Waiver under the Department of Medical Assistance Services be amended to allow for consumers to hire their own personal attendant after demonstrating their ability to manage and supervise the performance of that attendant. HJR 539 of 1995 authorized a study of this issue.
