SUMMARY:
Insurance; cancellation of certain policies. Provides that the notice provisions required for cancellation of certain insurance policies covering business entities and homeowners do not apply if the named insured, or his duly constituted attorney-in-fact, has notified in writing the insurer or its agent that he wishes to cancel or nonrenew the policy, or if, prior to the date of expiration, he fails to accept the offer of the insurer to renew the policy.
