SUMMARY:
Information technology trust fund. Establishes an information technology trust fund to be used by the circuit court clerks to (i) obtain office and information technology equipment, including software and conversion services, (ii) preserve, maintain and enhance court records, including, but not limited to, the costs of repairs, maintenance, service contracts and system upgrades, and (iii) improve public access to the court records. The bill imposes a $3 fee on legal actions, instruments recorded in deed books, and docketed judgments. The measure expires July 1, 1997.
