HB 954 Concealed weapons permit issuance; use of fingerprinting.
Introduced by: William P. Robinson, Jr. | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Concealed weapons permit issuance. Requires that all applicants for a concealed handgun permit undergo fingerprinting. This is to accommodate an accurate background check for disqualifiers. The print ensures that it is thorough and unless it is mandated by law for a "criminal justice purpose," the FBI will no longer conduct the check.
