HB 907 Alcoholic beverage control; tasting license.
Introduced by: Joe T. May | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Alcoholic beverage control; tasting license. Creates a tasting license, which authorizes the licensee to sell or give samples of alcoholic beverages of the type specified on the license, not to exceed two ounces per person of each product tasted, in areas designated by the ABC Board. The bill limits samples of products to no more than four products of wine and beer or no more than two products of spirits. A license for mixed beverage samples may be granted only in localities which have approved the sale of mixed beverages by referendum. For the purposes of state and local taxes, tasting licenses are treated as banquet licenses.
This bill is identical to SB 442.
