SUMMARY:

Receipts for payment of local taxes. Requires treasurers to deliver a receipt for payment of taxes by cash or money order only if requested by a taxpayer. Treasurers are currently required to deliver receipts to taxpayers paying by cash or money order when the tax is collected, and the failure to deliver a receipt is a misdemeanor.
