SUMMARY:
University of Virginia Medical Center. Exempts the University of Virginia Medical Center from requirements imposed upon state agencies generally regarding review and approval of capital projects, operating leases, and procurement. The Medical Center's employees are exempted from portions of the Virginia Personnel Act. Separate retirement and health insurance plans may be established for the Medical Center's employees.
