SUMMARY:

Out-of-service inspections. Requires local law-enforcement agencies to supply names of local law-enforcement officers certified to perform out-of-service inspections to the Department of State Police (instead of the Department of Criminal Justice Services) and eliminates responsibility of Department of Criminal Justice Services for annual in-service training of state and local law-enforcement officers certified to perform out-of-service inspections. This is a duplicate of SB 174.
