SUMMARY:
Prehospital patient care reporting. Requires emergency medical services agencies to collect minimum data concerning a call for emergency medical services involving a minor when the result of the medical emergency is a child fatality. The emergency medical services technician is required to include information on the type of call, the response time, the treatment provided, the nature of the call, and such other information as the State Board of Health may require. The emergency medical services technician must provide any information collected or prepared concerning the emergency call to any law-enforcement agency or other investigative agency, upon written request. The emergency medical services technician is exempt from civil liability for any acts or omissions resulting from the good-faith rendering of information to the law-enforcement and investigative agencies.
