SUMMARY:
Fair Housing Law; powers of localities. Extends the time from July 1, 1992, to September 30, 1992, by which localities must have enacted ordinances conforming to the Virginia Fair Housing Law. The bill also deletes the current deadline of July 1, 1992, by which localities must submit such ordinances to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for a determination of substantial equivalency.
