1996 SESSION
HB 667 Corrections; inquiry as to citizenship.
Introduced by: George W. Grayson | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Corrections; inquiry as to citizenship. Requires the sheriff or local official in charge of correctional facilities to send, in their monthly reports, the citizenship status of each new prisoner committed in the previous month. Current law already requires that all officers in charge of correctional facilities inquire as to the citizenship status of each new prisoner, but there are no requirements for centralized reporting of such data.
