SUMMARY:
Department of Environmental Quality; abandoned waste sites. Provides a process by which the Department, any other agency of state government, or any local government may gain access to an "abandoned waste site", as that term is defined in the bill, for the purposes of investigation, abatement, or remediation. The bill does not create any obligation to or liability for those activities upon the public body.
