SUMMARY:

Department of General Services; Virginia Government Competition Act. Repeals the Virginia Government Competition Act of 1995 (Chapter 501) and replaces it with the Virginia Government Competition Act of 1996. The bill transfers the Commonwealth Competition Council, enacted in the 1995 Act as an independent administrative agency, to the Department of General Services.
