SUMMARY:

Order of sale of escheated land by the Governor. Expands the jurisdictions in which an escheat sale can occur to provide that for lands that lie within a city that lies wholly within a county, the sale may take place in that city, or a contiguous city or county. This change should affect, for example, the Roanoke, Bedford and Fairfax areas.
